This key of the Lakota flute is a standard tuning in the middle range of Native American flutes and is the most popular tuning of this instrument. And because the Western notation system is based on this instrument in the scale of E major, it is introduced by teachers as a suitable tuning for starting training. This tuning has a medium sound and many video clips and performances of Western melodies are performed with it. As a therapeutic instrument, it is related to the fourth and fifth chakras. And it has a lot of connection with the key of sol both spiritually and sonically.
