Lakota flute in the key of A is a soft and gentle bird-like sounding, which is classified as high range flutes (and in some classifications as a midrange flute). Of course, this flute is also made in the low octave, but due to its large size, it is less popular and recommended. Its wavelength is short and it resonates at a frequency of (400-960 hrz). It is used as a healing instrument to cleanse the fifth and sixth chakras and is associated with the color blue. Its associated stones are turquoise, aquamarine, lapis lazuli and blue agate, and its associated totems are small mammals such as foxes, Canadian otters, wildcats, mara, small fish and birds such as swallows and hawks. It is in contact with the element of water and flowing rivers and gives its player’s soul clarity, purity and innocence, and is very suitable for reconnecting with the flowing elements of nature. Due to its weight and its convenient size makes it easy to transport and fits in small backpacks (length 44 cm – diameter 3 cm). And because of the small distance between its holes, it is a good option for beginners and also for those with small hands.
