The Native American flute, which is known by other local names such as Lakota, Kiowa, Chippewa, is an ancient shamanic instrument related to the musical culture of the Native American peoples. This flute is in the category of woodwind instruments and of the minor pentatonic type, which is also used as a therapeutic tool for meditation and communication with nature. The Lakota flute is made in different keys and models. These tunes, in order from Hight to low, include: Do (C), Si (B), La (A), Sol (G), F sharp (F#), Fa (F), Mi (E), Re (D). each of these tunes can be ordered in two octaves and with three models (single, double and triple). This key is made from the Lakota flute in two octaves. It is one note lower than the E-key and one note higher than the C-key. It has a soft, mellow, and soothing sound and is associated with the second chakra and is used for cleansing. It is associated with the colors red and orange and is associated with red and orange agate stones and smoky and brown quartz. Its totem is the wild ox, reindeer, and hawk and is associated with the elements of earth and fire.
